Irrawong Reserve – 143 species

A natural sub-tropical rainforest sitting in the lee of the escarpment. Expect to see gerygone, thornbills, whistlers, pardalotes, kookaburra, owls, robin, brushturkey, fantail, lyrebird, cockatoos, king parrot and raptors.

Especially good for summer migrants, such as channel-billed cuckoo, eastern koel, dollarbird, rufous fantail, black-faced monarch.

A short walk from the road to the waterfall, encompassing a creek, palm trees and a raised boardwalk.
