Warriewood Wetlands

Warriewood Wetlands is one the last remaining swamp mahogany wetlands on Australia's eastcoast. Linked by a boardwalk and nestled among a modern housing estate, there is a rich variety of ecosystems. Birds of note are ducks and egrets, spoonbill, honeyeaters (mainly in winter), grebe, fairywren, miners, whipbirds, lorikeets, goshawk and cockatoos.
